Occupational Health and Safety Policy

CMA Global Construction fulfills its occupational health and safety responsibilities at all its workplaces based on the requirements of the relevant national and international standards and regulations in the countries where it operates. This includes the participation of all relevant parties, including employees, interns, visitors, and business partners.

All workplaces take preventive actions to eliminate or reduce hazards that could lead to work accidents and occupational diseases. They ensure the participation of employees and relevant stakeholders in these activities. The health and safety of its employees, business partners, customers, and visitors, which is the most fundamental value of the company, is a top priority.

Workplaces continuously improve to eliminate hazards that pose a risk to life and property, such as diseases, injuries, and emergencies. They conduct risk assessments with employee participation to reach acceptable risk levels, use new technologies, evaluate changes and opportunities, and manage processes with a proactive approach from the design project phase. They involve all levels of the organization and stakeholders in improving occupational health and safety practices, raise awareness, and enhance competencies in all areas of operation. They aim to develop a safety culture by instilling safe behavior habits in all employees and making them a way of life. They adhere to legal obligations and relevant national and international standards related to occupational health and safety.

By setting measurable and applicable goals, they aim to improve, review, and monitor occupational health and safety performance. They spread good practices within and outside the community, consider suggestions and recommendations from relevant parties/stakeholders, and take into account needs and expectations. They commit to leading by adopting the principle of “Healthy individual, safe workplace” and providing all necessary resources accordingly.
